Overview

The Camden Deluxe Hotel is a stylish renovation of a listed building, the old Theatre De Luxe from which it takes it's name. The buildings facade remains as it was in 1975 when the theatre lights dimmed for the last time. Today's visitors make a point to visit the hotel ballroom, the original theatre auditorium which now houses the very popular Palace Nightclub. It's beautiful vaulted ceiling and lavish decoration have also been restored to their former glory. It is also famous for its appearance in the Alan Parker film, "The Commitments". The 34 bedrooms are furnished with simplicity and sophistication. Warm inviting hues make them instantly appealing. Each room is equipped with direct dial telephone, television, and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a hairdryer. All public areas are non smoking, to comply with Irish law. A limited number of smoking rooms are available. The hotel's restaurant (Frite Haus) serves breakfast, lunch and dinner where the food is designed to make the guest return again and again.
