A good hotel combing past and present in terms of architecture and decor. The hotel is close to pleasant terraces and tea rooms as well as the local museums and other sights. It's suitable for both groups and individuals.

The rooms are fairly modern, unlike the rest of the hotel which is quite traditional. They are decorated in yellows and blues and each has a desk and chairs. They are in a good condition as are the bathrooms.

The hotel has two restaurants the "Serrerestaurant" and "The Countess" serving either French or Dutch cuisine

The building dates from the 17th century so is very traditional in style with red bricks, large sash windows and shutters.

The lobby is small and welcoming with limited seating.
